Product Manager

Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and motivation to grow the business, owning the success and profitability of assigned product lines through their entire lifecycle. Detail product requirements, support development, lead go-to-market strategies and maintain live support with continuous improvement initiatives through to managing end of life decisions.

Drive the successful delivery of our product road map, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our existing and future product portfolio is aligned with market trends, customer needs and organisational strategy.

Be the subject matter expert on your assigned product lines, their application, and their competition. Collaborate across the internal functions of sales, design, marketing, manufacturing, quality, and operations to develop and provide product solutions that are responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.

Education and experience

  • Relevant degree or comparable experience (in accordance with the job description) in marketing and product managementAdditional marketing qualifications preferred
  • 5+ years in related discipline in industrial manufacturing

 

  • Technical or Engineering qualification

Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong business acumen and commercial understanding
  • Financial management and understanding – P&L / business cases for investment / margin management
  • Strategic thinking and ability to create robust strategic plans, with a focus on results and plan execution
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the business
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven judgement
  • Project management with ability to achieve deadlines across multiple projects
  • Technically and creatively minded
  • Excellent presentation and attention to detail
  • Competent use of standard Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
